Australian Defence spends $25m on simulator

Australian Defence is spending $25 million for 9 extra vehicle training siulators, which doubles the current order.

The simulators are currently being assembled by Thales Australia and will be delivered to army units startin 2013, according to the heraldsun.com.au.

The deal, signed today by Defence Materiel Minister Jason Clare, takes the defence department’s current order to 18.
